Hi I'm Garrison Evans and I just recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelors in Professional Music with focuses in songwriting and electronic production. I can do regular vocals, demo vocals, and background vocals, such as male lower octave doubling (ex. Drive by Halsey). I can also play keyboard and have some experience with guitar and cello.

With a major in songwriting, I have experience writing and co-writing with and for other artists in almost every genre including but not limited to pop, rock, R&B, alternative, indie, folk, etc. I've co-written a couple of songs that have upcoming releases. My songwriting services include any combination of lyrics, melody, harmony, and top-lining. Hit me up with any song ideas you'd like written and I can help you complete them!

I also do have experience with production. My DAW's of choice are Ableton and Logic. My production services include creating beats, demo production, and remixing. I've produced my own music, co-produced songs for my friends, and remixed a couple of songs as well.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I'd describe my style as genre bending, introspective, honest, and emotional.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with every artist I listed as a professional who inspires me, but lately I think working with Maggie Rogers would be such a wonderful and eye opening experience, just because her music as a whole is so unique and different from anything else I've ever heard and seen and I'd love to pick her brain and collaborate with her to make something amazing.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: You can edit pitch and rhythm, but you can't edit emotion.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I usually work on a combination of indie, alternative, pop, electronic, folk, and R&B.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm very inspired by the singing, songwriting, and production of a wide variety of different artists from almost all genres. To name a few, I'm strongly influenced by BANKS, Troye Sivan, James Blake, Bon Iver, Julien Baker, Terror Jr, Felix Snow, London Grammar, Selena Gomez, Maggie Rogers, Aly & AJ, Sasha Sloan, and Lauv.
