Interview with KING KVNG

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My first album, self-written, self-produced, came out December 2023. I'm proud to finally step into the spotlight with my own songs.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: you will be satisfied with the musical outcome
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: synergy
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook, Apollo Twin, Condenser Mic, Electric Guitar, E-Piano
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started in a Metalcore band with guitars and singing. Then I founded metal cover project DCCM which went through the roof. Now I'm focussing on original music with political lyrics.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Bass heavy
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Tom Morello would be a great fit. His guitars combined with modern production is something I love to do too.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: instead of side-chaining kick and 808 i usually cut away a bit of the 808 to make the kick cut through as clean as possible.

A: Alt-Rock, Trap, Pop, Nu-Metal
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I'm extremely fast and versatile which gives me the chance to ride the flow-state very effectively.
