I've been working with Bluhauz for the last couple of years. His vast expertise in the music business, along with his unmatchable guitar playing skills, production and songwriting ideas makes him one of the most talented musicians I have met. He always meets deadlines and delivers hi-quality material. Super recommended.

Interview with Blue House

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Stone Giant has been my band since 2013 and very proud of everything we have done. I have been involved in all aspects of that band and being the frontman. We have millions of plays accumulated in Spotify and have performed at Lollapalooza and great gigs. Now I am solo artist Blue House about to release my second album.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Finishing production for my second album.

  5. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  6. A: I would like to work on a song produced by Rick Rubin and invite Ozzy Osburne to sing lead vocals while I play guitar and produce as well. Writing the song together would be a great experience.

  7. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  8. A: All my peers on SoundBetter are amazing! I have created a huge contact and friends list from my Berklee years and music industry works.

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: We work with both but digital is great nowadays with all the editing options we have.

  11. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  12. A: I will take their music to its highest potential and bring all my professionalism to make that happen.

  13. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  14. A: It is not my job, it is my lifestyle and I love it!

  15. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  16. A: They usually ask what my experience is and how working together would be. I always answer with my story and make the client feel comfortable that I work in a very professional way.

  17. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  18. A: People think the music industry is just fun and laziness. Well its hard work, struggle, and many hours!

  19. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  20. A: Always start addressing their needs and expectations. Once I know what they want I ask for references that express the clients ideas. And of course we talk about budget and costs to find a common ground.

  21. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  22. A: Make sure you will get along with your provider and keep in mind this can be the start of a long working relationship.

  23. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  24. A: Guitar, cable, headphones, laptop, interfase.

  25. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  26. A: I have been playing guitar since 5 years old but picked up music professionally at 17 years old. At the age of 20 in 2010 I decided to invest my life into music and studied 4 years at Berklee College of Music in Boston. 27. Q: How would you describe your style?

  28. A: Energetic!

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Patience! And always start securing the drum and bass before adding final colors. Solid drum/beat and bass are key to a successful production.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I produce and record all genres of music and can adapt to what the job needs so I would not limit myself with this answer.

  36. A: My soul, passion, and knowledge! I work on every song as it was my own and find the best ways to contribute to the overall message. My major in Berklee was songwriting and I have learned the best approach to make a song work.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: Depends on the artist and job needs. For recording guitars and vocals I always learn the song form and partes perfect and find the best way to include my recordings to help the song be better. Once I have defined my parts I step into the studio and take my time recording and always new ideas come up in the moment. I am flexible with revisions after I have delivered the first draft.
