I have been working with top level studios and musicians from all over the world as a recording/mixing engineer. I have worked with artists/bands of various musical styles such as Rock, Blues, Latin Jazz, Pop, Ska and Symphonic Orchestras.

Hello! I specialize in mixing and mastering Rock, Funk, Pop, Metal, Indie and Punk songs but as long it is a song, I can mix it :)

I use my own version of the Michael Brauer mixing method, so don't be afraid because I'll be giving you the best to get the quality you are looking for!

I use top notch plugin companies as:

I can also record the bass for your production!
I can read sheet music or I can improvise something that suits your song.

I have these basses so you can choose the one you want!

[+] Epiphone Thunderbird (4 strings)
[+] Fender Jazz Bass (5 strings)
[+] LTD B-50 Precision and Jazz Bass (4 Strings)

I can record through an Ampeg amplifier and you can blend both signals.

For microphones I have Sennheiser 421, Shure SM57, Electro-Voice RE20, AT4050 among others!.

I also have Avalon 373sp and a Manley preamp if you want to drive the DI signal!

  1. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  2. A: My band's first single!

  3. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  4. A: I prefer Analog for recording, and Digital for mixing.

  5. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  6. A: Louder is better.

  7. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  8. A: Send me some references songs that have what YOU WANT for your own production, explain some details about the recording and production process.

  10. A: Be honest, try to explain everything about what YOU WANT, if it's possible with examples so we'll make the path to accomplish what you require.

  11. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  12. A: My laptop, an interface, a pair of headphones and I'm done haha.

  13. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  14. A: I move to Caracas when I was 19 years old and then start working with high quality musicians around the city. While I started only doing recordings, somehow I manage to start mixing what I was recording to my clients to I gain a lot of experience.

  16. A: I like punchy drums, pokie bass, hard-hitting guitars and in your face vocals.

  18. A: Arctic Monkeys, all of their albums are a joy to listen

  24. A: Simple is better

  26. A: Any type of Rock, also some Venezuelan styles.

  27. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  28. A: As a bassist what's best for the song, from groovy bass lines upto melodic bass lines. As a mixing engineer what does the song make me feel, that's the emotion I want to bring to the listener.

  30. A: I have made my own version of the 'Brauerize' mixing method but it is nearly the same process as he uses.
