  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Booggz Tha Suite Life 101; I was the engineer of the whole project. I worked with the artist for many years but he went on vacation and brought a fresh sound that opened up a different mixing realm in my brain. I regard that project as my all-time favourite from start to finish.

  4. A: Mixing my brother Beals L.E.S music

  6. A: No

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital because the future gotta be digitized

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: That we will get it right

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: I like the sounds. It soothes me.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: How much do you charge? I usually say whats your budget.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: That I make beats on a regular basis

  18. A: If they have a deadline. What are their music career plans? Do they need marketing?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Make sure your vocals are recorded correctly.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I started rapping (im still rapping) Then I fell into engineering. I've been doing this for over 20 years.

  26. A: Patient, very patient and attentive

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I like working with diamonds in the rough. I like feeling like i helped that artist get to the next level

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Don't overthink a mix. If it sounds good to you than its good.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: hip-hop; rap; trap; rnb

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Noticing audio imperfections. I cant let certain things slide in a mix

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I bring clear, bright vocals, Sometimes I add a little extra to the production. But I always have a song bumpin' no matter what.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I have to be in music mode. Than start laying out my tracks based on my template

  42. A: Murda Beatz; Sunny Diamonds; Kendrick's engineer Ali; Devvon from Youtube... those are people that inspire me to always make my sound unique and different with every mix I do.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: I usually do mixing & mastering work for my clients. Sometimes I remake beats and edit small videos.
