  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: A project I worked on that I'm extremely proud of is "Take A Ride With Me" because it took me 3 years to write, produce, record, and mix this project.

  4. A: I'm working on my latest project "Take A Ride With Me" which will be released Fall 2016 through my label Quiet as Kept Entertainment.

  8. A: I appreciate both analog and digital, however I find it more convenient in my case to mix ITB.

  10. A: My promise to my clients is that if they give me acceptable source material I will always give them a satisfied result from my work.

  12. A: I love most about my job that I'm fulfilling my purpose in life, which is to create music.

  14. A: The most common question customers ask me is how much do my services cost and my answer is always, it depends on the amount of work and what the customer wants.

  16. A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that it's an easy occupation to write and produce music.

  18. A: What are you looking for in terms of service and is there a deadline I should be aware of? What is the project budget?

  20. A: Make sure you have a clear understanding of what it is the seller is providing and what it is you want.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My career path is to release music independently through digital distributors and my personal physical retail establishment. Also to license my original compositions for Film/TV/Ad use. Fall 2016 is my first commercial release on my label Quiet as Kept Entertainment.

  26. A: My style is Alternative Hip Hip with derivatives of Neo-Soul, Contemporary R&B, Jazz, and Blues.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I'd like to work with J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Jhene Aiko, because they're prolific writers and they deliver their words with brilliance.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: I usually work on Hip Hop, R&B, Soul, Pop, or Country music.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: My strongest skill would be songwriting and understanding how the song should sound when it's completed.

  34. A: I usually bring the entire concept to a song from the idea, to the creation, to the end product.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: My typical work process is to consult with the client on their specific need and do my best to deliver to them their product in a timely manner. If I'm creating for my own projects, I usually sit with an idea for a few days, develop chords and melodies, find the key and tempo, layer instruments, build percussion section, write the lyrics, and then demo the record.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: My studio setup is a Home Studio set up complete with Waves Platinum Bundle and UAD real time Plugin Bundle.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: Other musicians who inspire me are people I've been fortunate enough to build a relationship with such as Junius Bervine; (Music Director for Pharrell Williams) and Brent Kolatalo (Engineer; Drake, Eminem,etc).

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: The most common type of work I do for my clients are tracking their vocals, vocal production, beat making, arranging the music, and music production. I also Demo and write songs for placement.

  43. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  44. A: One music production tip I can share is never have too many elements playing at the same time. The vocals, percussions, and main instruments are 3 elements that the listener can listen to thoroughly without getting ear fatigue. Any more and it could muddy the clarity in the track.
