Hi, I'm Julian (AKA Cat Alloy) and i'm an EDM producer, I make a lot of dubstep but i've dabbled with other genres like Trap, Drum & Bass, House and Orchestral. I use FL studio.
I work with a lot of sound design, (it's one of my favorite parts of production!)
I mainly focus on dubstepy growl sounds but I love making all sound satisfying in general.
Some artist that inspired me a lot are Justice, Kai Watchi, Tchami, Subtronix, but of course I like a ton of bands outside of the electronic genre like The Mars Volta, Nirvana, and Code Orange.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm actively working on a lot of my own personal albums
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I am a digital producer but uhh... Analog still sounds better.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Your song will NOT BE BORING
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Making a song to me is like adding to the conversation of music history. even if my addition to the conversation is just "look what i can do!!!"
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: people think I can only make and like one genre of music (psst I like making everything lol)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I very important part for me is the sound and feel of a song, thats a very important part to me. then i think of what i can do to make it sound memorable
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My computer and headphones (of course lol), A super nice keyboard, a mic and a bunch of pots and pans to sample!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've been making music since about 2015. And I started with a lot of remixes and covers
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: On the aggressive side, but keeping it exciting even on lower fi tracks
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd love to work with Eptic, or Marauda. There are also a lot of vocalist i'd like to work with
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: GO GRAZY!!! BE EXPERIMENTAL!!!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mostly Dubstep but i have a lot of experience with Drum & Bass, and House.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Stretching the boundaries while having fun!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: A lot of my music will be based off of a rhythm, Chord progression, or sound I have in mind. Once i have that down i expand my idea and stretch it as far as a i possibly can
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I use FL Studio, I have a built pc with an i7, 32GB of ram. I use Audio Technica ATH-M60x headphones.
