Remote Mixing & Mastering

Dmitriy Lyakh on SoundBetter

Hello folks! I’m Dmitriy from Siberia, Russia. I'm a guitarist, bass player and mixing engineer. I offer services for remote mixing and mastering. I specialize in heavy styles of music, because I'm a bass player and songwriter in a metal core band.

Like many musicians, I ran into the fact that sound engineers in my city can not make a good sound of my songs or it's too expensive. And I decided to learn this myself. I spent a lot of time learning and practicing. And now I'm ready to help your music sound quality, powerful and loud. I like modern styles of metal and rock music. I know how this music should sound and I know how to do it.

Interview with Dmitriy Lyakh

  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: I would advise you to pay attention to how the track sounds in general. Does the sound make you shake your head? Try to put yourself in the place of an ordinary listener, do not rate the track as a musician. Often musicians have a misconception about how their instruments should sound in a mix.

  3. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  4. A: Metalcore, Deathcore, Progressive metal and similar modern styles of metal, as well as modern directions of rock music. But I don't want to limit myself to these styles. It will also be interesting for me to work on an interesting project in other genres.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: I don't want to say that the digital has surpassed the analog, but we live in the 21st century, and it's foolish to underestimate digital technologies.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: I promise to be fully involved in their project, until the desired result is achieved. This is my responsibility.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: I like how with my hands and ears a lot of tracks turn into a finished song.

  11. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
