RJ is one of the most intuitively brilliant and respectful players I've had the privilege of collaborating with. His playing alone is a lesson in support and intention. He is an inspiration and elevates the music and energy around him - would recommend immensely to anyone looking for their creative and personal worlds to open and prosper.

The first time I ever saw him play in an overly crowded house show in East LA, RJ cast a hushed spell across the entire room the second he laid his hands on the neck of his guitar, and then some songs later tenderly on the keys of the upright piano in the corner of the room. I knew instantly that, with any luck, our musical worlds would spiral together. RJ understands the heart of my music & he's willing and able to meet me right there in the center of it--bringing with him the gentle power of his playing and the inventive risk-taking of his production, never fearing the unexpected or unknown.

Raymond Joseph is an exquisite talent. He has an incredible ear and is a masterful multi-instrumentalist. Raymond has the ability to pay such close attention to detail while simultaneously never losing sight of the piece as a cohesive whole. He composes gorgeous soundscapes that are cozy and interesting to dwell within, is endlessly creative, and takes great pride in his work. Above all else, he is a wonderful and caring human being with a huge heart.
