Artists i have worked records with Stereo Nation, C&C Music Factory, Shayne Ward, Drake, Flo Rida, Freedom Williams & many more.

Hello,
My name is Michael Leonard aka S3RVO, i have been in the music industry for over just over 18 years now 10 of which are my professional working years. From 2017 to 2021 i was signed to many major labels ghost producing for some of the worlds biggest names. As fun as it was working with the best, truthfully it was a unrewarding role which led me ultimately wanting to wrap it up and go fully independent and build my own name up to finally get the recognition for my work.

I have now moved on to be fully independent working on just 1 to 2 tracks per week focusing on the quality rather than quantity. It allows me to work directly with you taking you along on the journey too, keeping you in the loop of the whole process.

There are many styles of music i can produce, so the possibilities are endless. The main genres i work in are Mainly pop, electronica, house, EDM, Cinematic/Soundtrack but i can put my hand to pretty much anything really, Please just send me a message and we can discuss your needs.

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Interview with S3RVO

  1. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  2. A: The most asked question is how much do you charge ?? and my answer is what is your budget ?

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: Max Martin - He's simply a genius, one of the best producers and songwriters.I'm sure i would learn more in an hour of watching him work than i would going to a university for 5 years.

  5. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  6. A: I'm a secretive person and i have worked my ass off for the past 14+ years learning what i know now so unfortunately I just don't share.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: POP, Trap & house music.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: A ready to go record, Clean, crisp sounds. I'm known for making the simplest's of sounds, sound BIG! Which is how i found my pathway to POP music.

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: I Like to ask for a few reference records to help guide the project. Once we have the reference records selected i like to discuss if there are any specific requirements for the project e.g layout/structure/sounds ect. Then we will discuss the turnaround time and wether they would like the track mixing and mastering so its all ready to go. I don't process/tune or mix vocal stems. Once the vocals have been Recorded, processed and tuned i'm more than happy to add them to the instrumental and mix and master the track fully from there.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: My studio setup is very simplistic but effective for my workflow, I'm a Mac Pro user "I hate windows" lol. I work mostly in the box using StudioOne/logic/ProTools as my preferred DAW. I use Serum, Omnisphere, avenger, Zebra as my go to's for sounds and Waves, UAD Plugins for my processing of the sounds. I Use The UAD Apollo Twin MK2 (Quad) as my audio interface. It provides me with super clean pre's it comes with a handy control knob on the surface to easily adjust volumes ect. The studio monitors are KRK VXT6 which i have several years of use out of and know the sound of them inside out, it's not the best speaker but provides me with exactly what i need to get the job done. I also have a few pieces of gear too, Which contains the DBX 160XT/ Novation PEAK Synth, Novation Impulse Midi KEYBOARD, Neumann U47& 87,Rode NT1,Sure SM57.

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: My most common work is beat-making/production. Mostly instrumental records.
