I offer background vocal or top-lining sessions. I started singing professionally in 2009 when I moved to Nashville and was in the band Erin Rae and the Meanwhiles as a vocalist until 2014. I left the group to start my own project, Good Scout, and to explore my interest in the alternative genre. I have been an active background vocalist in Nashville for various bands since 2009 and those genres range from Hip Hop to Americana. I am highly influenced by Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, John Mayer, My Bloody Valentine, Snoh Aalegra, Sonic Youth, Sufjan Stevens and The Innocence Mission (to name a few). I love stacking harmonies to build walls of sound that can add a new dynamic to the track and pull from my influences to see how far we can push things. If I'm not totally lost in the song at first listen I spend time creating a doorway through harmony & melody to get in.
