As someone who has experience as both a signed touring musician (The Candescents) and successful songwriter, arranger, and producer, I know the hard work and dedication that goes into completing a track. My hope is to be an extension of your creative vision and to help your tracks sound exactly how you imagined them.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated successfully with people in many different forms, whether as a producer, arranger, or simply polishing the final mix of their track. Having held deals with Kobalt Music Publishing and Dirty Hit Records, I have both the knowledge of industry standards and a deep respect for raw bedroom recordings. My main goal in a mix is to bring the listener as close as possible to the artist by preserving their initial vision for a song and supporting it instead of adding unnecessary layers. I specialize in everything from rock/pop to electronic and bedroom pop.

Interview with Cody Von Lehmden
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: While I work out of my bedroom, my setup is far from an ordinary project studio. I have a UAD Apollo 8 interface along with a 4-710d which gives me the capability to record drums, bass, guitars, and vocals with ease. I also have an isolation booth and a massive mic collection which includes a Sennheiser 441U, two Aston Starlights, an Aston Spirit, a Solomon Subkick, a D112, and many more!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Jack Antonoff, Mark Ronson, Kevin Parker, Jesse Rutherford
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most commonly I've worked closely with singer-songwriters to craft instrumentals and productions around their tracks to bring them to life, but I'm also passionate about mixing music and putting the final touches on songs.
