Hey! I'm Alyssa.
I play acoustic and electric cello in several local Philly bands & have over a dozen professional recording sessions under my belt. I write & arrange my own parts OR perform pre-written parts depending on the gig! I've been playing for 13 years, was classically trained, & studied at Boyer College of Music under great classical AND jazz teachers.
I'm expanding the sound of the cello & challenging what it can be on acoustic and electric cello. I love music that's lush, groovy, and cathartic and especially r&b, rock, & dance music. I'm also a multi-instrumentalist on electric bass, guitar, keys, vox, & some violin.
