Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I've recently written three songs for new upcoming band that will get a lot of attention through TV. It will be exciting to see how it all turns out.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Right now I'm working on my EP, as well as songs for other artists.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. It's faster some times.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That I will give it my best!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The freedom to work whenever and where ever I want.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "What's your price?" My answer depends on the amount of work the client is after.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That it's a genetic talent xD! Talent can only take you so far, you have to work hard for it.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: I ask them what they're looking for, and how I can be of use.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Just send me a message and tell me what you're looking for! Together we'll figure it out!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Mac, Mic, sound card, cabels and charger.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started in a duo called "Elsa & Emilie" in 2009. We released two albums under Sony Music Norway (2014 & 2017). We went on several tours and played big TV-shows. Now I write for others while I'm working on my solo-project.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is a bit like the Weeknd meets Frank Ocean, meets Julia Michaels.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Bon Iver, just to see how he works!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Find a person who's better than you, who can listen to your stuff and give you relevant feedback.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Usually I work on pop music. Everything from EDM, to singer songwriter pop, to House toplines and RnB.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Melodies, lyrics and vocals.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Melodic lines, great harmonies, creative lyrics and a nordic sound.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I usually start by humming some melodies with random words, then I write some real lyrics to it. After that i record the demo.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a basic studio setup at my place that i use to make demos. A focusrite scarlett 2i2, one dynamic mic and one condenser mic and Logic Pro X. I have access to multiple studios if you need a professional recording!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I'm inspired by Ariana Grande and Julia Michaels.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually write melodies and lyrics. Sometimes I sing on the tracks as well.
