Hi! I’m a professional bass player based in Barcelona, with over 30 years of experience performing and recording across a wide range of styles, and credits on more than 40 albums.

I deliver solid, musical bass tracks tailored to each song, from tight grooves and melodic lines to authentic parts created from scratch.I can create an original bass line from demos, chord progressions, charts or reference tracks, or faithfully reproduce an existing part with the right feel and sound.

I record remotely from my professional home studio using a selection of high-quality basses, including:
Fender Jazz Bass '73 (for a classic vintage sound)
Fender Precision Japan
Fender Jazz Bass American Deluxe V 5-string (for an active sound)
Marcustico bass (for an authentic double-bass sound)

My setup includes an Apogee Duet 3, Aguilar Tone Hammer, Darkglass Anagram and Logic Pro, allowing me to provide both clean DI and amp/processed tones. For each project, I can provide two bass tracks from the same performance: a clean DI track and an amp-colored/processed version, giving you more flexibility during mixing.

I deliver professional-quality WAV files at 48 kHz / 24-bit. I can also send a short sample of the recording before final delivery so we can make sure the direction and feel are exactly what you’re looking for.
Send me your track, and and let’s find the right bass for you!

Martín is a great bass player and musician, with taste, feel, and a deep understanding of music. We’ve worked together on several occasions — always bringing new ideas while respecting the direction of the music. He’s creative, reliable, easy to work with, and an all-around great musician. Highly recommended!
