I was born in 27 july 1993.With your help, my own soon, which is my own project '' What Da Funk'' will be released 8th album which will be one of the most popular artist in Turkey and took part in this album. The young talent of jazz and popular music scene Anil Şallıel was born on 27.07.1993 and at the age of 8 he started his saxophone life with the encouragement of his father Mümin Şallıel. His professional music life started at the age of 14 and still continues. At the age of 15 he shared the same scene with the world famous drum virtuoso Dave Weckl. He takes care of playing all styles without separating his musical styles, and by this time he has given a breath to nearly 1500 albums to the films and jingle.
On April 30, 2012, he shared the same scene with the famous Italian guitarist Nicole Conte during the International Jazz Day.
In 2011 he set up his own project, What Da Funk. At the same time, he collaborated with Önder Focan and his brother Batu Şallıel on Funkbook and released album in 2016. Up to now he has taken part in with his group and various artists .

  1. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  2. A: I have a good command of Turkish and Arab music because I can read very good notes, jazz, funk, r & b and most importantly because you are Turkish.

  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: I believe I brought a good sound with my multi-instrumentalist and vast recording experience!

  5. Q: What's your typical work process?

  6. A: After the piece comes, if there is a note, examine the note and add a comment accordingly. If there is no note, I use a playing style according to that!

  7. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  8. A: Each style of musician has different colors, I take them as an example.

  9. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  10. A: Turkish Airlines Cabin Music , all films and jingle also 1500 Album !
