Marú is an indie-pop singer-songwriter artist from Romania, based in Vienna (AT). She spent her upbringing years studying music and later graduated from the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna.

Marú's debut EP "The Richest Girl in Town" quickly garnered sympathy and interest from the public in her native country, with songs such as “The Richest Girl In Town”, “Turning Tables”, "Din Alte Părți" and “A Younger You”.

In the fall of 2019, Marú released her first album - “Welcome Love Back”, summing up 12 songs, both in Romanian and English, with “Jungla” being a premiere. “Jungla” was a great surprise for the Romanian indie-pop listeners, spending 5 straight weeks as No. 1 in the Top of one of the most beloved local Radio Stations. The Record “Welcome Love Back” is about LOVE, in all its forms. It is a journal about everyone Marú met, teaching her the complexity of love. It represents the urge to keep your heart open, despite shortcomings, in order to WELCOME LOVE BACK... again and again and again.

Marú is Looking forward to collaborating with music producers and other songwriters, creating lyrics and melodies for songs in different genre.
