Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Several different solo projects, collaborations with other producers and vocalists.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Yuma. and DLAY.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: For me it's all about what you do with the sound. There are so many great alternatives to analog gear today, that most people can't even hear a difference. I would rather focus on different parameters that will change the sound over time and make it feel more natural.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It makes me smile every day.. and enjoying your life is the most important thing. Don't hesitate, just go for your dreams! Life is too short!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, headphones, soundcard, midi-keyboard and a proper keyboard / mouse combo.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: It has definitely been changing over time, but nowadays it's all about getting a great vibe, having a strong focus on vocals and making sure the production is sounding alive and humanized.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Big Z, because all of his music are always so well produced and are sounding so clean and pristine,
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Great music needs contrasts! And there are so many different ways you can do it. E.g. Adding, removing frequencies, changing the instruments, change up the rhythm from long to short faster notes. And more! The possibilities are endless!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Deep House, Chill / Lounge and sometimes Big Room / Bass House fusions for Ghost Productions.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First I want to create a vision or at least have an idea on where I wanna go with the song. Sometimes, just a title is enough. After that I focus on getting a basic arrangement done with more or less the sounds that I want in the final product. Next step is to rest my ears for a couple of days and then get into mixing and mastering.

A: Big Z, Don Diablo, James Carter, Drove, Forester, Dropgun, Jax Jones etc
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and mastering, sometimes I also do cover arts for their singles / albums.
