Tampa Bay based Producer, Mix and Master Engineer/Multi-Instrumentalist with 2 studios in the Tampa Bay Area, Florida.
My name is Luciano Mendonça (AKA Lucky), and I am a Brazilian-born American musician best known for my role as the bass player for the Brazilian singer Emmerson Nogueira as part of his band Versão Acústica, from 2001 to 2006, I have had the opportunity to work alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry. I have worked with both unsigned artists and well-established musicians from North America, South America and Europe. When he lived in Brazil, I performed alongside other notable recording artists and musicians, such as Guto Goffi (Barão Vermelho), Paulo Ricardo, Cláudio Venturini, and Wilson Sideral. Due to my role with Versão Acústica, I was Invited by Sony Music to play acoustic bass for Julio Iglesias in a special performance for the Brazilian soap opera, Celebridade.
After leaving Versão Acústica, I moved to London and joined a local band called “King Rat” to get myself more familiar with the British music scene. Still in London, I was invited by Emmerson Nogueira’s former manager, who was managing another popular Brazilian band called Roupa Nova, to attend a recording session at Abbey Road studios. This was when my dream to invest in music began to take a new direction.
Currently, I spend my time between Los Angeles, NYC, and my recording studio in the Tampa Bay area, Florida.
I look forward to working with you.
