Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is melodies and composing emotional music pieces.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring good vibes.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: As an ambient producer I start with the vocal sample (a poem or meditation) and clean it up so it's clear crisp and tight sounding. Then I will compose layers of real instruments and synths to bring out the story being told and to uplift and amplify the message of the piece.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I produce on a Mac M1 Pro running through a UAD Apollo Interface running to some KRK 5 inch speaker and a subwoofer. Very simple but effective.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: For ambient production I really like Brian Eno, Marconi Union, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Purl, and lot's of others. But I also really like dance music, trance, Martin Garrix, Marshmello,
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I produce music for 10 - 60 minute guided meditations and poetry pieces from 3 - 15 minutes long. It's all story telling, so it's a similar process to scoring music for a film or producing a song. The question al always ask is what would draw me deeper into this piece and into the present moment?
