Professional singer and songwriter based in Germany, from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am the lead vocalist of my band FlowerLeaf, where I write songs, record them and perform live shows. I also have experience with operas and musicals.
With a lot of experience in studio recording, I can delivery pro-level quality recording from my own studio and equipment. I can provide well recorded vocals, backing vocals and ad libs for your song and you can mix them the best way you see fit for your project.
I’m versatile and I can sing using different vocal techniques creating from airy and soft vocals to strong and aggressive growling. To hear more of my voice, feel free to search for FlowerLeaf music.
I will communicate with you carefully so we can collaborate to achieve the best outcome to your song.
Being classically trained, I can sing in multiple different languages (e.g. Italian, Spanish and German) but for songwriting and lyrics purposes I will work only with English and Portuguese.
I'm looking forward to collaborating with you! Send me a message through the contact button.

Interview with Vivs Takahashi
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I don't have a specific artist that I'd like to work with but I know what kind of artists that I like to collaborate with: kind hearted and patient but focused and hard working. I don't do well with people that behave like they're better than others.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: It takes time to understand and accept your own voice, especially when a singer is recording themselves. It takes some time and practice but once you're there, it's very liberating :)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most recently I've been working mainly with metal music but I've also worked with pop, electronic, opera, musicals, acoustic... I love exploring different genres and what I can do with my voice to fit each one of them.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: There are two things about my voice that I'm particularly proud of: my vibrato is always on point and I can hold really long notes, even the high ones. Of course I don't use these resources in every song but it's something that I can do really well.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Because I'm also a professional actress and voice over artist, I love playing with the words and how I can better interpret them. Singing is not only executing the melody but also bringing your heart and soul into it.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Because I come from a classical school, I like to really dig into the song, note by note, understand the harmony and the possibilities I have with it. So I use my piano to help me explore the music, I write things down and try some different takes until I'm happy with the result.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I am very proud of my home studio that was built with a lot of effort since I moved to Germany. I got my M-Audio BX5 monitors for better sound quality, a Behringer Flow8 mixer and a Yamaha Piaggero digital piano - I'm not a pianist though, but the piano is important for singing and harmony practice and also for songwriting.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I started singing because of the great divas, like Mariah Carey and Celine Dion but my style changed completely once I discovered Nightwish with Tarja Turunen, Within Temptation and other metal bands. I never abandoned my pop roots, though and I still take inspiration from Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and also from Broadway stars like Idina Menzel.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually make lyrics and record the vocals, with backing vocals for clients. For my own band, I am the lyricist, top liner and singer, and I love adding backing vocals, choirs and ad libs to my music.
