Hi! I’m Marcin Majcherek, a professional bass player, composer, arranger and music producer with over 10 years of experience in studio and live performance.

I graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice (Jazz Department), where I studied bass guitar. My formal education, combined with years of practical work, allows me to approach every project not only as a bass player, but also as a composer — always serving the song, the groove and the emotional intention of the music.

As an independent artist and producer, I released two original albums under my solo project bassic chill:
WITHIN (2022) and Waves (2025). My music has been performed live across Poland, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic, at jazz clubs, festivals and listening-focused events.

I am comfortable working across a wide range of styles, including Pop, Hip-Hop, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, R&B, Soul, Country, Latin and Ambient-influenced music. Whether you need a solid, supportive bassline, a melodic part, fretless textures or something more experimental — I always adapt my playing to the character of the song.

In addition to my solo work, I regularly perform as a bass player with Warsiński Trio, and I have recorded bass tracks as a session musician for artists from Brazil, France, Canada, Italy, Great Britain, Israel and Taiwan.
