JAM Audio started as an idea in early 2021. I already knew what i wanted to do for a living, but after running sound for a small halloween concert, I decided to bring JAM Audio to life. Since then, I have been able to work with some of the most talented DIY musicians in LA County, and I earned a B.A. in Music Industry Studies from Cal Poly Pomona.
My main services include recording, production, mixing, and mastering. I can play guitar or bass, if needed, during the recording/production phase. In addition to studio work, I can also provide live sound reinforcement.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't use AI. It's probably the quickest way to lose who you are as an artist. Art is meant to be human, and there's nothing that could change my mind on that.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: most of the tracks I've worked on has been indie/pop, but I don't believe in the idea of specializing in one genre. I think anyone can make any genre if they put their mind to it. It's all about listening with intent.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Communication 1000%. I strongly believe that communication goes a long way when working with artists. We all have one goal; which is to release the song, but each goal may be slightly different. Any communication upfront can help everyone find what they're looking for. I'll never be hurt by someone telling me they don't like my mix. It's my job to get them what they're looking for.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to be as transparent as possible. If it's not my song, it's not about me. I know other producers have a style they go for, but that's never been me. I like when a producer can show off the artist more than themselves.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: For studio work, I tend to record and produce at the same time (unless I'm part of the writing process), so that always comes first. From there I mix, then I master. When sending my mixes out, I try to include a basic master to show clients how the finished product could sound.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My current setup is Logic Pro on my Mac, with a PreSonus 32SX acting my interface/DAW controller. From there everything goes through my Adam T8V monitors. Eventually I would like to get a stereo compressor, but everything is in the box for now.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Steve Lacy would be a huge one for me. Him and this one from YouTube named Audio Haze.

A: I typically do mixing and mastering, with occasional production.
