Vocalist / Electric Violinist

Singer and Violinist (electric or acoustic) for pop, rock, folk, alt and more. Studio and live experience.

Hi! I'm Johanna, and I'm a singer and violinist. I record lead vocals, backing vocals and violin parts from my home studio. Because of my 5-string electric violin I can provide viola parts as well as add effects (I work with a BOSS ME-70 pedal board with a wide range of effects available). Vocally I am a mezzo-soprano but my range is E3 to G5. I have experience recording in-studio and at home, as well as touring and performing live to audiences of up to 5,000. I have primarily worked in rock-adjacent genres but I have a wide music taste and a range of playing styles (including fiddle) so I'm keen to expand which genres I work on. I have a masters in Composition from the University of Sheffield, and I love creating layered string arrangements for any and all music.
Clear communication and timeliness are really important to me, and I always want to make sure my clients are happy with the final result. Get in touch to discuss your song's needs and I'd love to help!
