I would like to focus my work as a mixing engineer on projects I believe in. I would like to be inspired by my client's work and help them achieve what they have in mind. My goal would be to turn a great piece of music into a great sounding piece of music. I will make this happen by my extensive technical knowledge and my sense of creativity.

I'm a mixing and a recording engineer, I've achieved this status from a long series of studies. I've followed a 3 year engineering program in a private school in France, specialising in live sound. As I obtained this diploma I realised that I wanted to better myself and switch my expertise to the studio recording world. I left for Amsterdam and enrolled into the Abbey Road's Institute program where I studied everything I know today.

Even though I am the happiest and the most successful in a musical studio environment, I've done extensive work in commercial mixing and editing for the radio and the cinema. I still work for a lot of live performances and wish to continue to follow some bands, for I like the different vibe the live scene conveys.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The upcoming EP of "Muji Roux", I've engineered all of their work.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A band called "Muji Roux" from The Hague.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Dieter Boels. Super smart guy.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Why not both ?
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: To work my hardest, and try to make you as content as possible.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Hearing new stuff, and working with the people who created it.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Would you be open to discuss the price ? -Yes
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I could do it for a cheaper price. You wouldn't believe how much I invested in my "simple" home studio to meet the artist's expectations.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's your goal ? What is the song about ? When should we start ?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Pick someone that understands you and you're project.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would just take 5 SM57. You can do everything with those mics.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've studied for 4 years, just recently graduated sept 2017. I've just started my professional career.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Natural.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: FKJ, I am amazed by his talent and would love to understand how he works.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be weird.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I recorded a lot of jazz, work closely to a hip hop producer, and mixed some pop-rock. I'm pretty versatile.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My patience, I'll work on your song until your happy with it.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I'll make a great song a great -sounding- song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I ask the artist to send me some reference tracks, to see where he would to head. I then proceed to mixing a first version, send it, and wait for feedback. Repeat until satisfaction.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I work on mainly on Pro Tools, with a UAD Apollo interface and a pair of Adam A7x.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Pharell Williams, FKJ, Al Schmitt.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: My premier source of work comes from the need of of a mixed track.
