BBC featured 🎷 Mike Casey on SoundBetter

Over 15 million streams worldwide. Splice's 1st ever saxophone artist sample pack, music featured by Huffington Post, BBC, JazzTimes, NPR. Proficient in all genres, trained in jazz. Internationally known saxophonist (alto & tenor) available for sax solos/remixes, collabs, hooks, horn lines, horn section recording/composing/arranging & touring.

Trained in both Jazz & Classical and endorsed by both Yanagisawa saxophones & Conn-Selmer, my music draws from a myriad of influences and the output ranges from Funk, Blues, Jewish music, and Jazz (all styles except "smooth") through to Pop/Rock, Folk, Electronic, Hip Hop.

My services can be as simple as playing over an EDM or hip hop track for you to chop up as you wish, producing funky horn arrangements for an R&B/Funk tune, playing on your jazz album, or the classic wailing Pop/Rock Sax solo that makes you shiver inside.

I can record my parts from my studio, but in studio work can be arranged as I perform internationally.

My maturity as a session player means that if you know exactly what you want I can help you realize that dream, taking criticism (without egos getting in the way!) until you are satisfied. And if you don't know what you want, I am also more than happy to workshop ideas both with or without your input.

If I am creating something from nothing for your project, which means I'm composing, I would ask for a fair % of the publishing royalties to account for the composition work involved.

I hired Mike to track on one a song, and he exceeded my expectations! He came in and laid down a tasteful solo along with some really nice held note stuff that really enhanced the overall production of the song. If you're looking for a pro who cares about his craft and is a good hang, look no further!

Mike was able to come in and immediately lay down quality sax on a session after hearing the material just once. Would definitely endorse bringing him on for session work on a variety of instruments.
