What you can expect from a SoundCheck with me

I love listening to new music and hearing new exciting ideas. As a creative mixer, I’ll give you feedback in a few different ways. First, on an emotional and creative level, does the song move me? Am I feeling invested in the lyrics and connecting to it on a personal level? Does it make me feel something? Second, objectively is anything sounding wrong that can be improved upon? Such as eq, compression, loudness, etc. Finally, do I hear any production ideas that can help lift the song? Ideas of additional sounds or changing sounds. New drum or percussion elements. Different types of effects that would help make things more impactful. I’ll listen multiple times in my personal studio on my ATC monitors before providing feedback.
