Born out of my desire to explore my own Arab identity, I’m pivoting to turn myself into a site for sci-fi. Creating a metaverse for myself, much like all my colleagues. I’m currently inspired by Solarpunk and have been exploring eco-futurism to build my presence across web2 and web3.
I'm a Kuwaiti musician dedicated to expressing my take on Khaleeji consciousness and what it means to be a Muslim/Arab today. I write songs in Arabic and English, with support from my Patreon community.
After developing a debut solo EP while living in NYC, I relocated to New Orleans to develop my world rock group Kuwaisiana. After COVID hit, I relocated to Seattle and have been working to re-establish the band in Seattle. My goal is to continue ideating against the musical concept of Khaleeji Rock in order to synthesize the experiences of everyday Arab-American youth, global Muslims, and express emergent perspectives of Khaleejis living in the Arabian Peninsula.
