Meet 22-year-old JP Thornewell a driven young hip hop artist that was born in Miami, FL. Having called several cities home JP set his sights on Chicago to hone his musical craft. JP was drawn to the sounds of the ever expanding Chicago music scene and felt he could make an impactful next chapter there. After graduating from SAE institute in May of 2017, Thornewell connected with Chicago based Maybach Music artist Rockie Fresh to make his 1st release of 2017. Accumulating over 30 thousand plays in the 1st month, JP knew that his music and style was connecting with Chicago & beyond. Looking toward 2018 JP plans to double down on his career and continue to drop new, ever evolving music.
