Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I am especially proud of the debut albums for InPhaze and Valcata, where I served as the lead producer and handled the entire mixing and mastering process. Both projects were produced remotely, with tracks recorded in various locations and sent to my studio for final production. Managing these albums from start to finish required a massive amount of energy and coordination, but the results were incredibly rewarding. They perfectly showcase my ability to deliver a high-end, cohesive sound even in a complex, remote recording environment.

A: Digital because of the flexibility that offers throughout the process

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: My promise is to treat your music with the same passion and attention to detail as if it were my own. I commit to delivering a production that doesn't just meet industry standards, but translates your artistic vision into a powerful, competitive sound. You will never receive a 'preset' mix; every track is approached with fresh ears to ensure your unique character shines through. I’m not satisfied until you are proud to hit 'play'

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: The most common question I get is about the revision process and sonic flexibility. My answer is simple: I offer unlimited revisions (within reason) until you are 100% satisfied. I believe that mixing is a collaboration. If the drums need more 'punch' or the guitars need to feel 'wider', we work on it together. I also provide guidance on file preparation (DIs, multi-tracks) before we start, ensuring we have the best possible foundation to reach that high-end, professional result you are looking for.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: To ensure the best possible result, I focus on understanding your vision and technical setup: Reference Tracks: Which 2-3 professional albums represent the 'sonic goal' for this project? The Vision: Are we aiming for a raw, organic vibe or a polished, modern 'wall of sound' production? Technical Specs: Are the tracks recorded to a click? Are the DI signals for guitars/bass available for re-amping? Project Status: Is the arrangement finalized, or are there elements still under production? Deadlines: What is your timeline for the release? My goal is to be on the same page before the first fader is moved.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: My journey started with a deep-rooted passion for Metal from a very young age. Even then, I found myself instinctively analyzing the 'clarity' and sonic character of different productions, noticing how sound aesthetics varied across different countries and producers. This obsession naturally led me to professional studies, earning my Bachelor’s in Music Production. I then spent several years working in the UK’s competitive music scene, refining my technical skills. For over 10 years, I’ve been dedicated to the art of mixing and mastering, transitioning from a student of sound to a specialist. My career path is defined by this lifelong connection to heavy music, combined with a commitment to delivering world-class, radio-ready productions for international acts

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: My style is defined by modern aggression balanced with organic depth. I aim for a 'larger-than-life' sound—massive, wide guitars and punchy, impactful drums that feel like they are in the room with you. While I love the polished, radio-ready precision of modern productions, I always strive to preserve the raw energy and human emotion of the original performance.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Creating a massive 'Wall of Sound' while maintaining surgical clarity. I specialize in making heavy guitars sound huge and drums punch through a dense mix without losing the organic energy of the performance.

A: My mentors are Chris Lord Alge, Jens Bogren, Jacob Hansen, Fredrik Nordström

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I am a professional mastering engineer using Presonus Studio One. I also use many plugins from Slate Digital, Eiosis, Accusonus, Waves, Steven Slate Drums, Trigger and more. My main monitor system is the Kii Audio Three, Presonus Eris E7X, Slate VSX and OLLO S4X

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: That I am able to meet interesting people all the time and listen to beautiful music

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That I press buttons and moving faders until it sounds right !!

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Having a vision for your music always helps both sides to reach the perfect goal and helps a lot, as makes the process and the communication very easy

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: In Flames, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Metallica, because I love their music and their personality as musicians

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: For explosive Rock and Metal drums, use Slow Attack times on your compressors. This allows the initial 'crack' of the snare and kick to pass through unaffected before the compressor clamps down, adding weight and sustain without losing the punch. Pair this with a Parallel Compression bus to blend in 'character' and 'energy' while keeping your main drum transients sharp and intact

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Rock and Metal is my style but that doesn't mean that I am not enjoying working on other genres
