Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Editing - no money can buy that "plugin".
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Sam Skaf, he is great Mastering engineer!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital. It is less problematic.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will fix anything that sounds wrong to me!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I doesn't feel like a job!
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That everything can be fixed in the mix!
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please send me your rough mix and I will let you know what I can do for you!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Sennheiser MD421, Strat, JCM800, solar panels, AC :D
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Long and painful LOL.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Steve Lukather! This guy worked with everyone!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't be afraid to experiment!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Funk, Jazz, Blues.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Well trained ears. Interesting effects. Dynamic range.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I don't have work process. Each song is different and unique. One thing I always do is listen!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My main monitors are Revel M20, 2-ways speakers set for stereo and surround sound in acoustically treated room. I also use Dahlquist PDQ-1500 Subwoofer, Avanton MixBox and Sennheiser HD600 Headphones.
