What up! I go by the name Denim. Upcoming Producer that has worked with major artists like Juvenile and Cash Money, but I also work with local artists coming up.   1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Any project I work on I am very proud, because it is something special about making nothing into something. From no melody, no drums, no lyrics to a complete song that someone else can enjoy that is remarkable to me.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am currently working on 2 projects now and I am working on my website where any artist can listen and buy music beats that I create. Stay tuned on that.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Both, I am Digital but the mixing Engineers may use analog at times and merge the sounds. It comes out Great, no complaints.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: Working with all types of people and listening to a track that I had a hand in making.

  9. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  10. A: Can you make this beat, and I say no, if u want a Mustard beat go to DJ Mustard and so on n so on. Being unique is why they stand out.

  11. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  12. A: That it is easy and always fun. Music is fun and I love doing it, but sometimes due to the nature of the business it can be stressful and loooong hours into one project. It truly is something you have to love doing.

  14. A: How serious to you take you music career and what do you do this for other than money

  15. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  16. A: Be creative, and take a risk. Music is fun, let loose.

  17. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  18. A: computer, hard drive with my sounds, 2 speaker monitors and a Keyboard. I'm all set lmao, We Ready Desert!!

  19. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  20. A: I was with other producers in Miami,Fl, and then I branched out on my own. Its been over 9 years. I love making music.

  21. Q: How would you describe your style?

  22. A: My music can be in rap or pop, I usually create a track that the artist has room to go in either direction with it based on how they feel.

  23. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  24. A: Drake because of his song writing ability and range. Kendrick Lamar because of his Bars, and Jcole as well. Female Side would be Carti B, she is dope and herself, and Kehlani because of her Voice, its Crazy Nice!!

  25. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  26. A: No one really knows what a hit will be, so be YOU and do YOU!!

  27. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  28. A: Hiphop/ Rap/ Pop Culture

  29. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  30. A: Music Production and Vibes Curator

  31. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  32. A: I can curate a Vibe and Melody that can direct a song, and then I have a Unique sound that is similar to what sounds good on the ear but still fresh.

  34. A: No set structure, if the Melody calls me first then its the Melody that time, if the Drums call me first then Its the Drums.

  35. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  36. A: Nice smaller Setup at home, good energy and vibes. And Also good food lol, but I work at a studio when Im recording with the artist.

  37. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  38. A: Timbaland and Dr Dre inspired me as a producer. Also Pharrell Williams.

  39. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  40. A: Original Production, and the vibe of the track.
