Sean Shannon is an audio engineer and DW Drum Artist specializing in drum tracks and mixing records. I have 30 years of experience making records and touring. I am also the creator of The Ear Training Kit™ and founder of The Mixing Workshop, an in-studio mixing training program for engineers and musicians, and I have contributed mixing articles for Recording Magazine.

I do live and studio mixing. I have worked with Bret Michaels (Poison)(monitor engineer), Billy Payne (Little Feat)(recording engineer), The Wallflowers (FOH), Tony Lewis (The Outfield)(monitor engineer), Impellitteri (vocal production/engineer), Rob Rock (vocal production/engineer), The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra (FOH and monitors), and corporate clients like Pepsi, Chevy, The Tonight Show, Universal Studios, Microsoft, and many others.

I am a lifetime DW Drum Artist (Drum Workshop – Drums, Pedals, and Hardware) and former world touring and recording drummer for The Pat Travers Band, Molly Hatchet, Outbound Road, Brian Howe’s Bad Company featuring Jeff Carlisi (38 Special), Les Dudek, and others.

I studied Tonmeister Studies with Dave Moulton at SUNY Fredonia, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1987.
