Subwave Productions on SoundBetter

A recording studio these days needs to be more then just a studio for recording. At Subwave Productions you can find a great set of skills and services with more then 25 years of experience for a good price and in great quality.

At Subwave productions you will be able to record small ensembles, voice overs, drums, percussion, vocals and much more but we are also great in mixing, editing (stems, vocal and instrument tuning, cleaning and repairing tracks), session acoustic/electric guitar and bass tracks on demand.

The studio uses modern and high quality equipment to get the job done.

Everything we do will be done with love and passion. If you have special needs or questions please give us a call, send us an email or make a appointment to visit us.

Interview with Subwave Productions

  1. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  2. A: I work in a digital environment with the use of some analog gear. It's for me the most versatile because I'm normally working on several projects so I need to be able to make a quick switch when needed. I'm using the Antelope Orion Studio Synergy Core as the heart of my setup. It's a very clean and incredibly good sounding unit with a lot of option build in and a pristine AD/DA conversion . After working with Cubase and Pro-tools for many years i made the to Presonus Studio One 3 year a go. It's for my workflow the best there is! Some I use are the Neve Portice II channel, A-Designs Pacifica, a vintage Siemens channel strip. Also the Antelope has very good sounding pre-amps. I have a broad choice of mic's (Nuemann U87, KM184 stereo pair, Peluso Tube Stereo pair, AKG414, Rode NTK, Blue Kiwi and more. I own a lot of plugins. The Softube Console 1 is really a piece of equipment I use on almost every channel and also UAD, Slate Digital, Fabfilter, Waves are used a lot. I have some great instrument and sample libraries (Native Instruments, EastWest and more).

  3. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  4. A: Too many to mention to be honest but people or artists like Criss Lord Alge, Snarky Puppy, Paco de Lucia, Daft Punk, Portishead, Vulfpeck, Dr Dre, Quincy jones, Nile Rodgers, Prince and many many more :-)

  5. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  6. A: The great thing about my work is that it's very divers. One day I'll be mixing a song, recording and coaching a vocalist or voice-over, editing some tracks and the other day producing an full album (of course not in one day) or doing some session guitars.
