A: I was the only recording engineer selected for the FIRST ever all-female songwriting soncamp for Mary J Blige. I was invited by She Is The Music foundation and ASCAP.

A: Sm57, MacBook pro with Avid Pro Tools, Sony HDR 7506, XLR cable, audio interface. You can do anything with that combo
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been mixing since 2009 and recording since 2006. Started out in Colombia, then moved to Nashville and worked for 3 years. Been located in Miami since 2015.

A: H.E.R. She is a musical genius with incredible talent. It would be a pleasure to experience her creation process
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Add distortion to the bass to separate it from the kick drum.

A: Pop, rock, urban, Latin, classical, Caribbean
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I have been a musician since age 11. I will work with the artist and producer to achieve the best sounding track, regardless of genre or style.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: When mixing I look for enhancing the arrangement and bringing the drums up front, while keeping the vocal as the main element of the song.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When mixing a song I like to study the references sent or recommended by the artist. It takes me about 2-3 days to finish a mix. I'll work on customer reviews until satisfaction is achieved on both parts.
