AFTER THE RECORDING

I can mix/master your song or you can choose a Premium Mixing Service with a multi Latin Grammy and Grammy award winning mixing engineer in Miami for a special price.

Also, we can master your song in Nashville at extremely reasonable rates with a great mastering engineer who worked at Motown for many years in the 60’s and 70’s.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Paul Mc.Cartney, Bruno Mars or James Taylor. Elvis Costello, Stevie Wonder.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, with their benefits and losses. Digital doesn´t mean cold if you know how to treat it! Analogue is not always what your song needs.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You will get the best from me and from your budget. And your songs will sound like a record.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It´s the best job in the world. Making music is a privilege and a responsibility. Every day a new journey.

A: How can I help you, what is your budget and what do you expect from your songs.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Please share you project with me. I will very pleased to listen to you and your music, and I will do all my best to make you happy.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: MacBook Pro, AKG 414 XLS, NEVE 1073, iPhone and charger!
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: The last 20 years.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I am very versatile. Working with different artists make you learn that the producers are at the service of the artist. We should develop the artist´s personalities and styles.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: What you are actually recording is the emotion you put on your singing or playing, and that´s what people will receive when they listen to your music.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, pop/rock, choral, playbacks for TV.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Patience! I always make things happen.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I´ve worked with dozens of artists through the years; my goal has always been to find the soul and substance of both artist and song and translate those qualities into music.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: We start by listening to the client, knowing the person and the artist. Then we listen to the song(s) to be produced or arranged. Once we know what we need for the song, I prepare a pre-production. If we are happy with the result, then we proceed to the recording.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: We record in ProtTools and programme in Logic Pro X. We have a great set of mics (Neumann, Akg, Senheisser, Royer Labs, Audio Technica, Roswell, GAP, etc.). We use a Sony DMX R100 Digital Analogue console, and some great preamps (Focusrite ISA 428 MKII, Heritage Audio 1073, RME, Golden Age Project, SPL) and some great compressors (2As, 1176s). We also have all kind of instruments and guitar amps (Fender Reverb Deluxe, Vox AC30) and an amazing vintage Yamaha Recording 9000 drum set.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Of course The Beatles, and the big pop/rock bands after them. Also some great producers like Marc Ronson for example.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly producing and arranging songs. Recording the instruments for their singles or albums. Editing, comping and tuning their vocals. Mixing and mastering the songs. I also produce professional playbacks for National TV talent shows.
