I am a professional and versatile vocalist, previously recording and touring with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I have worked with numerous publishing companies across the world, as well as multi-platinum and Grammy nominated producers and songwriters. I will record vocals for your project with a quick turn-around time.

I grew up in Georgia and now I am living and working full time as a singer in Las Vegas and across the country.

I have toured all over North America, received gold and platinum awards with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, selling millions of records sold worldwide.

I've also done a lot of studio work with clients from all over the world.

I've been hired to sing as a "Faith Hill" and "Carrie Underwood" tribute, as well as worked on my own country music as a singer and songwriter.

  7. Review by Lars L.

Christie did a fantastic job on lead and background vocals for track we worked on. The song had multiple parts and was complicated and she nailed it. She took pride in her work, ensuring the quality of performance and infusing it with just the right emotion. And through the project, she was super positive and enthusiastic. She was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her!

Interview with Christie George

  1. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  2. A: Equipment: ● Microphones: AKG C214, Aston STEALTH ● UA Apollo Twin ● Professional studio / 5x5 L.A. Vocal Booth

  3. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  4. A: I think I am proud of anything I do. If I am not, I shouldn't be doing this! Each project is a learning experience, and one thing leads to another. With that being said, I love writing a song from nothing, and watch it become a fully produced song. They are my babies!

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: A lot of different projects, personally, and for others. Lots to come!

  7. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  8. A: A producer, yes.

  9. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  10. A: Both! Depends on the song and what is available to you. It is always what is best for the song...

  11. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  12. A: That we will get it right!

  13. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  14. A: I am never bored! I also work with so many cool people around the world. It's quite amazing.

  15. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  16. A: "Can you do this?" Well... let me hear what you have and I will let you know!

  17. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  18. A: That you only have to sell out arenas to be a successful singer.

  19. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  20. A: I always ask for sonic references and direction as to where they think the song should be headed vocally.

  21. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  22. A: Not everyone can sing EVERYTHING. Great vocalists have their niche and stick to it. Also, it is important to get a good vibe with the person you are working with. Make sure you click!

  23. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  24. A: Water. Solar battery. old iPod with a gazillion songs. Headphones. Guitar.

  25. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  26. A: Since I was 12! But professionally for over 16 years.

  27. Q: How would you describe your style?

  28. A: Dynamic

  29. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  30. A: Depends! I love learning from producers and getting hyped with different songwriters. Artists can be a little bit more in their heads, so working with producers and songwriters can be refreshing... it's all about the song (not the artist)!

  31. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  32. A: Take a break and then go back to listen.

  33. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  34. A: Country and pop.

  35. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  36. A: Vocal variety and tones of soft breathiness, to belting power.

  37. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  38. A: Every voice is different, so I can only bring myself and my own vibe and energy to a song... and sing from my heart.

  39. Q: What's your typical work process?

  40. A: First of all, I want to understand the direction of the project and figure out some references. Complete communication is always best! Then I will go in the booth and start recording. If I feel changes need to be done, I will know after hearing the recording, and reach out to the producer or songwriter.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: My voice tends to gravitate towards other vocalists that I sound like. So I love singing along (and as tribute) to Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill, as well as listening to modern country singers such as Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Providing the vocals and style the client is wanting.
