Since we are dealing with art, you don't need just an engineer with technical knowledge, you need somebody to understand your music and help you reach your desired sound and enhance your production to the maximum, to be passionate enough to work until every detail transmits what is intended. I'm willing to help you get the next hit of your career.
One of the most important lessons I have learned in my 4 years experience as a mixing/mastering engineer is that one must approach the job as art, not as a technical engineer, that is just the "how", but a song needs to communicate something.
In order to accomplish that, I usually interview briefly with any new artist to get to know how they work, what's the concept behind their music, how can I take decisions to make the song captivating around that concept, how can I make the sound correspondent to the music. Does the song make me want to dance? Does it make me want to cry? Sound not only needs to be competitive and have quality standards, but It needs to be interesting in some way.
Now let me introduce myself. I'm Felipe, but everyone calls me Tuto. I've been working for more than 4 years (all my credits in @tuto.rz) mainly with hip hop and latin urban. Very passionate and curious about sound and music production, minded to do an excellent and dedicated work. You can feel free to ask me anything, I am willing to work with you in your next hit!
