I am a Romani/ Gypsy singer specializing in jazz, blues, and dance music. I trained at the most prestigious music conservatory in Prague, and I have performed professionally for more than 15 years on cruise ships and in jazz clubs throughout the world - London, Paris, Copenhagen,Berlin, Stockholm, the Caribbean, throughout Africa, etc.
I adore singing because I love reaching out to people with music and being touched by their responses, their emotions, smiles, and tears. Since my passion is my profession, I am quite fortunate. I grew up listening to jazz, r&b, the blues, and Gypsy swing. However, I also enjoy singing dance music, EDM, house, etc. And of course, traditional Gypsy/ Romani folk music will always be near and dear to me. I have been told that I have a voice reminiscent of 1940s and 50s, one that brings to mind the likes of Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, and Diana Krall. In fact, the famous Gypsy singer, Vera Bila, said my voice would carry me to the stars. So when challenges arise, I think of her, and keep my head up. I trained at the most prestigious conservatory in Prague (KJJ & VOS Jaroslava Jezka), which is respected throughout Europe. I will bring passion, knowledge, and joy to your project. We will make it come alive together.

I really love working with Marta. She is an amazing topliner, first-rate singer, and delightful individual. I hope to work with her many times more in the future.
Marta is the best singer I have ever worked with. And there is not a close second place!
Another wonderful experience with Marta. She is the best.
It is always a pleasure working with Marta. I want to do an entire album with her.
Marta has done several songs for me, all of them different. One was a jazz standard. The other was EDM. The final one was a rock tune, believe it or not. The point is, she nailed all of them, the first two in one take. Incredible. Never had that experience. Her years of study at Prague's most noteworthy conservatory, and her years singing on a cruise ship, building a diverse repertoire, really make for a complete artist. And she is so nice. We will do many more songs together.
Another amazing job. Really amazing. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the best.
Marta is a one of a kind singer. She can sing anything, and she takes direction well. She is so professional, punctual, and creative. I love working with her.
Thank you so much, Marta. You are a dream to work with. Let's do it again.
Marta's work is always first rate. She is one of the finest vocalists I have worked with. Second to none.
Marta never fails to amaze me. This was my second job with her. I am planning about one hundred more.
Wonderful vocals and professionalism again. Thank you so much Marta.
You can really tell Marta loves to collaborate. She listens so well, and seems to have no ego, which is so rare in this business. She is such an excellent singer, so much control, always on pitch, and has her own style, which she can adjust to suit just almost any genre. She's damn cool. DAMN COOL!
Marta is so easy to work with. And she takes and uses feedback so well, and so fast. My project was quite difficult and precise, and she had it back to me the same day - perfect! Everything we discussed was present and alive. Unbelievable. This woman is unbelievable.
At first, after reading all the positive reviews, I thought she might be too good to be true. But working with Marta went even better than expected. She is a true doll. So professional. So talented. And so fun. I cannot wait to work with her again. She lives up to the hype and then some.
Marta is the best. Just the best.
Marta is so talented and so kind. She is a breath of fresh air, and a killer vocalist. Nailed it.
Marta is so much fun. Her personality and laughter are infectious. And she is so professional. And then there is that voice, that amazing voice, God, like from the 1940s.
Marta is amazing. I've never heard a voice like this, so unique, so rich. And she works so quickly. Really unbelievable. And she is so nice!
Two words: simply amazing. She took my breath away. As good as Amy Winehouse. No question.
Marta is an incredible singer and such a nice person. I cannot believe she can work so fast. She delivered a perfect vocal in one take. No edits necessary. I will definitely work with her again. Thank you, Marta.

A: Most of all, I bring honesty, passion, and authenticity, no gimmicks, no tricks, just the fruit of years of hard work and paying my dues.
Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I am inspired by the golden of age of jazz (Ella, Charlie Parker, Dizzy), by the blues (Bessy Smith, Billie Holiday, etc.), by Gypsy swing (Django Reinhardt, Sara Lazarus), by neo soul (Erykah Badu, Jill Scott), by retro soul (Amy Winehouse), by funk, house, reggae, and by EDM music.
