Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rap & RnB
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vocal Mixing & lyric writing is what I'm known for.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Vocal Mixing and Lyric writing
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I'm proud of every project I work on because I give every project my all.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How did you make it sound so good, my answer is.. Practice.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Check and see if they offer free examples.. There are plenty of fakes out there pretending to offer high-quality mixing. All professionals I know offer a free 20 - 30 second example.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for well over 10 years, I know this sounds crazy but I would say over 100,000 hours of mixing and mastering honestly.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Not sure what this question means but I would say my style is: Warm, Big, High-Class if that makes any sense.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: No preference really.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: A lot of beginner and advanced engineers ask me which Studio Monitors I prefer or what is best. I truly believe from experience that it doesn't matter if you're using $50 headphones vs high-end monitors.. it's all about training your ear to what you are using. Listen to good mixed songs on whatever you're using and trust your ear. Test your mixes on other systems.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Having mixed and mastered over at least a thousand songs.. I believe I have picked up a lot of tricks and secrets. I definitely believe in the 10,000 rule.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I get to know the customer's vision, what they want and expect, then I put my own sauce on it and give it the best quality possible.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I have too many inspirations to list.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on a 15 song album for a texas-based rapper.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'm not sure,
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. The answer could be really really long lol. They both have pros and cons. I like analog because of the authentic warm artifacts it provides.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I absolutely promise you will be satisfied.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Everything. I've always loved the technical side of music and I've always been a perfectionist.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: In the past and still today artists will assume that's it's all in the mixing engineer lol. Please Don't Record On A 20 Dollar Mic And Expect Me To Make Magic.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What is your goal with the song, tell me a little bit about yourself (You don't have to get personal), what's some of your favorite artists or songs.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I'm assuming gear as in music gear. 1. Really good Laptop with a solar-powered charger. 2. Headphones 3. that's it.

A: I'm running a very expensive (Still paying on it) Solid State Logic AWS 948, API 5500, Manley Massive Passive, Warm Audio WA-2A, WA76, and ATC SCM100ASL Monitors
