Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like Hybrid, I mix on Pro Tools but my Stereo Mix Bus is going out to a Wes Audio Dione Bus Compressor and a pair of Neve 542 Tape emulators. I love the color that the Analog rig is adding to my mixes.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Rhythm base driven mixes.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Urban, Latin Urban, Hip Hop, Reggae, Folk & Pop.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When I'm mixing a song I usually import all tracks to a Pro Tools session (if it's not in Pro Tools already) then I organize tracks by type and add color coding, then listen to the song several times and start to make a ruff mix only with faders and pan knobs so I can get the vibe of the song. and finally I import my Aux tracks and begin to Mix!!!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing / Programming Drums / Live Drums or Hybrid.
