Hi! My name is Rozemarijn, and I live in the Netherlands. I am a singer, producer and vocal coach. Music is my soul mate, and it has always been a part of me. In 2019, I graduated from the ArtEZ Academy of Pop in Enschede, the Netherlands, where I specialised in vocal performance and backing vocals.
I have a variety of experiences in different music styles. This includes recording lead vocals, as well as producing, arranging and performing backing vocals. Along with studio work, I perform as a backing vocalist for bands and other projects working with people like Ingrid Simons along the way.
For my thesis, I created a web documentary about diverse American music genres at the grassroots level. The story unfolded through my pilgrimage to select music destinations which helped shape America’s rich musical culture:, including New York City, Detroit, Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans and Clarksdale. I interviewed local artists and producers working at the heart of the music industry, as well as and visited music festivals, venues and institutions. It helped me better understand the cultural influence of American musical styles including soul, jazz, blues, country and gospel. This has been a source of inspiration for my arrangements.
In my home studio, I record and edit my demos. I can deliver assignments in the desired format, including lead vocals edited or unedited, doubles, and/or backing vocals. My sound is adaptable based on a preferred style and the nature of the assignment, and I can provide multiple options.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Its good to have a clear vision. But it’s always nice when I get the freedom to come up with my own ideas so we can make the best version possible.

A: I’m versatile and knowledgeable in different genres and knows how to adapt my voice and arrangement to accommodate a range of styles.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I record a base demo for the client to check if they want things changed. After the feedback i rerecord a final version. I’ll continue the process until the client is fully satisfied! I like to give the client multiple options and love it when i have the freedom to use my own creative mind.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I don’t have a specific professional that inspires me. But music with choir arrangements in general inspires me and gives me energy!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I record pre arranged vocal arrangements or come up with my own arrangements for backing vocals and record them.
