Recording/Mixing Engineer and Producer in Manchester, UK. Chief Engineer at Castle Rock Studios.
Alex has been working as an audio engineer for over 10 years, both live and in the studio. Before this he was a touring musician so has experience on ‘both sides of the glass’. Alex works on a wide variety of musical styles, but specialises in Rock, Pop, Punk and Metal. He especially loves making Pop-Punk records.
Alex is the Chief Engineer at Castle Rock Studios (CRS), in Alderley Edge. CRS is equipped with a Solid State Logic console, 5.1 Surround Sound Monitoring, API, AML, Drawmer and Neve preamps, nice outboard compressors and some great microphones. Parking is free and a place to sleep overnight is there for free if needed..
In addition, Alex is an AVID certified Pro Tools Expert (310M), and AVID Certified VENUE Operator (210V).
