I have sung as a lead and backup singer in rock and soul bands for years, as well as written music and lyrics for various projects. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What's the feel you want in this piece? Do you have examples of songs and artists who capture a similar style as what you hear in your head?
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Rock meets Jazz meets Soul. I love to bend a note and put my heart into a melody.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I'd have died and gone to heaven if I could work with Roger Daltrey. Why? That scream!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I've worked on many types of music, but I work a lot in jazz, soul, and rock.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My ability to transform your song with my vocals.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring years of vocal training and performance as well as a little piece of every song I know and love, which helps me give your recording a unique take and enhance your sound.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love so much music, from 60s rock (The Beatles, The Who), through soul (Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin), to new artists (Vulfpeck, Arctic Monkeys). I always have something playing and have a diverse interest in many types of music.
