Hey there! My name is Jonny KT, I am a Professional Guitarist from NYC here to make your visions come to life! I have 14 years of experience playing, 13 years playing live, 10 years+ doing sessions in studio productions of all sizes and genres! I specialize in both rhythm and lead guitar solos and and the genres of pop, blues, rock, hip hop, trap, and rnb. I have my own home studio and I am able to provide a fast turnaround and either Wet (with FX) or Dry (without fx) guitar stems for your sessions! I am also a songwriter.   1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Brazilian EDM song I did for a soccer commercial. I produced the entire thing my self start to finish and it was an insane amount of work, I also mixed and mastered it. I am proud because it was my first big project after learning to mix and master on a professional level from the great Gabriel Candiani over at Warner Chappell.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: I am putting together my single releases for the year of 2022.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Kris Bradley.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: both. Depends on the client. Digital for majority of the work but some good rock music will need analog gear for that extra UHMP. I prefer Analog most of the time but find that most clients need digital for guitar.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: To deliver the best possible product we can.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: flexibility. I can travel, Even as I write this my studio is with me on a tropical island in the winter.

  14. A: Can you do this or that, my answer is usually yes.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: I am mean. haha just because sometimes my face looks serious but I am a hard working goofball.

  18. A: What is your vision for this song. What key, what tempo, what do you hope to accomplish with this song. What is your purpose for it.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Be respectful and dont hold back about your vision.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Guitar, Laptop(with charger) Midi controller, Headphones, Interface.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: to be a Rockstar music artist. I have been at it for 14 years and I have definitely realized quite a lot of my dream. Now I am building a more intimate fanbase for longevity as a solo artist and helping others recordings come to life in between my own. to make music that really speaks to people on a level of poetry that creates long lasting fans and ultimately to inspire others to follow their own dreams

  26. A: Blues, Soulful guitar playing or heavy attack driven, but also soft I am very dynamic and versatile

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: John Mayer because we have similar background, we're both guitar first but vocally adept and I think we would vibe well :)

  30. A: Mix in Mono at speaking volume.

  36. A: I Bring my true guitarists feel and talent, I bring over 14 years of consistency in guitar whether solo or rhythm you can be sure I will bring my good energy and a genuine love for getting your vision completed

  38. A: Discuss with the client, Listen to the track, come to agreement, practice, record send first demo for revision, edit, until complete :)

  40. A: Focusrite 2i2, Shure beta80, Taylor acoustic, Gibson LP, Fender Strat, Massive plugin library, Native instruments, EW Play, etc
