Alan is a gifted songwriter and arranger. He came to me with a lyrical adaptation of a classic poem, and offered a progression in his preferred key. I was able to build a song around the structure he provided, and the process was smooth once we nailed down the style that worked best. The collaboration turned out brilliantly, along with a third artist who provided vocals. I enjoyed this project!
