With over eight years of experience playing this beautiful instrument, I have honed my craft to deliver a sound that is both traditional and modern. I specialize in recording with a professional home-studio equipped with preamps and high-quality mics to ensure state-of-the-art recordings. I can record a wide range of duduk instruments and keys, including bass duduk, and I am one of the few musicians who plays the extended range duduk. I have studied under the tutelage of distinguished musician and duduk innovator, Georgy Minasov, who has expanded my knowledge, technique, and palette over the years. I have performed at various venues across the Toronto area, showcasing my duduk skills in different musical styles, including jazz, classics, and traditional Armenian music. With my collaborator, Viktor Kott, we have recently presented Café Duduk - a musical journey featuring contemporary interpretations of Armenian and popular music from around the world performed by duduk and piano in the style of acoustic lounge and chill-out jazz.
