I'm an experienced professional vocalist and songwriter with a track record of working with talented session players across Europe and the US. My career highlights include a UK chart entry for one of my own songs. I bring dedication and a commitment to quality to every project I take on, aiming to produce top quality music for my clients.
Based in the UK, I've been fortunate enough to lend my voice to a wide variety of projects, including lead and backing vocals for remote clients internationally, jingles for adverts, and my regular in-person clients. I'm usually in front of a mic or the piano for most of the week and I absolutely love it! I always make sure to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality tracks that are polished and accurate. My skills also include piano and I have added piano to a number of my client's tracks in the past.
I bring experience to every song, dedicating the time and creativity each project deserves. My professionally treated space ensures top-quality recordings. I will generally send a quick mix of my work in order to get feedback ahead of sending the dry vocals tracks upon completion. I can also send mixed stems if required.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Never lose sight of a great melody when producing. So often, less is more.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I try to make sure that every song I work on becomes personal to me. That means I can give passion and honesty in my performance ensuring that my clients get the best of me every time.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: My main goal is to create something that's genuine, creative, and high-quality. I also aim to deliver quickly for my clients. Once a client funds a job, I typically dive right in. If the project involves writing lyrics and a topline, I usually send a preview of the first verse and chorus within a couple of days. We'll chat about any tweaks, and I'll keep working on the rest of the song until we're both happy with how it turns out.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Foy Vance... songwriting and performance is out of this world. Seen him live in Nashville, London and Liverpool. Brothers Landreth... I love their production and style. You can go a long way to learn from someone better than the legend Dave Pensado on the mixing front!
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Logic Pro X on a high spec Mac Studio with UAD Apollo Twin X interface. I currently use a Komplete Kontrol S88 midi controller to record my instrument parts where required. I have loads of beautiful plugins from the likes of Native Instruments, Spitfire Audio, UAD and Waves for both midi plugin processing and vocals.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be as clear as possible about what your vision may be for your project. There are no right or wrongs so I’m open to any ideas from the writer.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: I would love to work with Lady Gaga. Her diversity and vocal talent is off the charts and I'd love to witness her creative process.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I co-wrote and tracked the vocals for a military charity record that charted in the UK and raised money and awareness for the charity.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will always do the very best I can for each project.

A: Meeting great people.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Am I happy to help with the track/project further than just singing or producing exactly what has been asked for at the start? Yes. So often, songs change as they are recorded and it's important to stay true to the writer/s initial brief whilst being open to any revisions. I'm also pleased to make suggestions in a polite and friendly manner, and, not take offence at all if they are not right for the client!

A: What is your general style and journey with music so far? What is the timeline for a particular project? Are you open to creative suggestions on performance and slight changes of structure etc?

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I do a lot of singer-songwriter and soft rock vocals and production at the moment. It's mostly done in house with help from other Soundbetter pros when I need certain guitar and sax parts for a client's track.

A: Vocal work. I also love to get involved with the songwriting and I'm very happy helping with production where required.

I'm thrilled to announce that I've just wrapped up composing the music for a pioneering wellness initiative. This project focuses on enhancing both mental and physical well-being through carefully crafted soundscapes, melodies and guided meditation voice-over.
