Hi! I'm Ross — my songs have been placed in 'The Office', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Vampire Diaries' & countless other TV shows and films, I've released 4 albums with indie stalwart Merge Records, written the theme for one of CNN's most popular news shows, scored two feature films and quite a few trailers for Netflix. I'd love to help with your tunes!

I’ve been a recording artist for Merge Records -- fronting two different bands (The Broken West and Apex Manor) -- since 2006, releasing four LPs on the label and touring the US and Canada opening for acts like The National, The Walkmen and Fountains of Wayne. I also toured the US twice as the lead guitarist for acclaimed indie band Strand of Oaks.

I’m signed as a songwriter/composer to Rough Trade Publishing and have licensed songs to many TV shows and movies, including ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘Atlanta’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, ‘The Office’ and 'Shameless'. My music has also been used in national commercials for Comcast, Fidelity, and Oral B and other brands.

I wrote the theme songs for CNN’s ‘The Lead With Jake Tapper’ and A&E’s ‘The Many Sides Of Jane’, and I’ve scored two feature films — one for Fullscreen and one for Lionsgate. Lately, I’ve been writing a lot of trailer music for Netflix, including the trailers for ‘That ‘90s Show’, ‘The Exchange’, 'House of Ninjas', and the new animated feature, Nimona. I recently co-wrote the lead single from Netflix’s new animated series, ‘Castlevania: Nocturne’.

In addition to working as a professional recording artist, songwriter and composer for almost twenty years, I'm a session vocalist, guitarist, bassist and mixing engineer.
