Nathan was fantastic. He did exactly what I wanted - took the demo and made it his own. He had great ideas on background vocals and ad libs. Highly recommend

  6. A: I haven't really worked with any other sellers on the platform so i would not be able to provide you with an informative answer. However, i do believe that everyone on the platform is talented in their own unique way. So, working with anyone would be a great choice. It's all about what works best for your song.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital, analog was great but the advancements in technology have been able to help reduce the around of physical gear that you need. This makes our working stations more portable and easier to use.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: To always leave you satisfied with the results. I will work hard to get as close or even better that what you envisioned for your song.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: The freedom to create and express my talent.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: How much do you charge for your services? My rates vary depending on the specifics of the project, such as the length of the recording, the number of songs, and the level of complexity. I am happy to provide you with a quote based on your specific needs. Do you have your own recording equipment, or do you need to use a studio? I have my own recording equipment and can record remotely if needed. However, I am also comfortable working in a studio if that is your preference. Do you have any specific requirements or preferences for the recording process? I am flexible and adaptable; I am happy to work with you to meet your needs and preferences. However, if you have any specific requirements or preferences, it is important that you let me know upfront so that we can discuss and address them. Do you have a preference for the type of music you sing? I am comfortable singing a wide range of music styles, from pop and jazz and R&B. I am happy to discuss your specific preferences and see if we are a good fit for your project.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Some clients may assume that because I am working on a freelance basis, I am not as committed or dedicated to my craft as a full-time artist. Some clients may believe that I am not as skilled or experienced as singers who are signed to a record label or agency. Some clients may assume that I charge higher rates than singers who are represented by an agency or record label. Some clients may believe that I am not capable of producing the same level of quality as professional singers. Some clients may assume that I am only able to perform certain styles or genres of music. You should not be worried. Freelance singers are just as professional, talented, and experienced as singers who are signed to a record label or agency. Many freelance singers have years of training and experience performing and recording music, we are committed to delivering high-quality performances for our clients. In fact, some freelance singers may have more flexibility and versatility than their signed counterparts, as they are not bound by the constraints of a record label or agency. Therefore, clients should not be worried about these misconceptions and should instead focus on evaluating the skills and experience of the specific singer they are considering working with. By doing their research and communicating clearly with the singer, clients can ensure that they find the right fit for their project.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: Can you provide more information about the project and what you are looking for in a singer? What style of music is the project in, and what are the specific vocal requirements? Is there a deadline for the project, and how much time do I have to prepare? Can you provide a copy of the music or lyrics that I will be singing? Will I be singing live or recording in a studio? If recording, will I be able to attend the recording session in person or will it be remote? Are there any special considerations or requirements that I should be aware of? For example, do you have a specific vision for the vocal style or tone, or are there any language or pronunciation requirements? What is the budget for the project, and what fees and expenses will be covered? Who will own the rights to the recording?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Just always approach me with a positive attitude and the hunger to make great music. If you do this we will work well together.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: A guitar or other musical instrument: I would bring a guitar or other musical instrument with me so that I could continue to make music and express myself creatively. A Bible or other religious text: As a Christian, I would want to have a copy of the Bible or other religious text with me to help me stay connected to my faith. Pictures of my family: I would bring pictures of my family with me to help me stay connected to them and remember the love and support they provide. A journal: I would bring a journal with me to write down my thoughts and feelings, and to document my experiences on the island. Survival supplies: Of course, I would also bring practical items like a water bottle, sunscreen, and other survival supplies to help me stay healthy and safe on the island.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I began my career by singing covers of popular songs and posting them on YouTube. I built a following and gained recognition for my vocal skills and stage presence. After several years of performing and recording covers, I began writing and recording my own original material. I honed my songwriting skills and developed a unique style and sound. I released my first EP or full-length album of original songs, which received positive reviews and helped to increase my visibility and fan base. I continued to write and record new music, and gained a reputation as a talented and original artist. My music was featured on radio and streaming platforms, and I gained a following of devoted fans. After 10 years of singing and performing, I have established myself as a successful and respected artist in the music industry. I continued to evolve and grow as a performer, and my music reached new audiences around the world.

  25. Q: What's your typical work process?

  26. A: Initial contact: I communicate with the client to discuss their needs and negotiate terms such as the project budget, deadline, and any specific requirements. Preparation: I review the project materials and begin preparing for the recording session. This involves rehearsing the music, studying the lyrics, and taking care of any necessary vocal warm-ups. I may also work with a music director or producer to refine my interpretation of the material. Recording session: I travel to the recording studio or set up my own recording equipment at a designated location. I record multiple takes of the song, working with the producer and audio engineer to achieve the desired sound and performance. Delivery: I deliver the final recording to the client. Follow-up: I follow up with the client to ensure that they are satisfied with the recording and to discuss any potential future work opportunities.

  27. Q: How would you describe your style?

  28. A: Soulful and unique

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Just create and focus on the the other stuff later. You never want to waste time trying to find the right vocal preset or kick drum. Just live in the moment so that you can capture great memories.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I am very flexible withe the genres that I can work on. However, my go to genres are R&B, SOUL, Contemporary R&B, Mellow pop and house music. I'm not great at belting out notes but i will give you a great performance/Take

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: A very unique soulful sound that you won't find anywhere else

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I currently operate from a small home studio all my audio is run through a Behringer UM2 interphase. I also have access to bigger studios should you wish to work that way. However, I always do my best to record HQ files that you can easily mix into your projects.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: My journey as a music professional has enabled me to work with many different types of artists that come from different parts of the world. Each new interaction with a new artist provides me with new opportunities to grow and learn. I find inspiration through working with others.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I'm a singer/songwriter and a performing artist. Most of the work I get is for songwriting as well as lending my voice to other producers that have demos that just need to be sung. I enjoy interpreting other people's ideas in my own unique way.
